PB&J Toast with Peanut Butter and Jam Recipe
The PB&J sandwich – peanut butter & jelly – is a classic of American kids’ lunchboxes: simple, sweet-and-salty, and very filling. In a warm version on crispy toast, it tastes like a quick dessert you can make in just a few minutes. It’s something between toast and a cookie, perfect for an afternoon snack or a late breakfast.

- sandwich bread toast bread - 4 slices
- peanut butter - 60 g

- butter - 10 g
Main Ingredient:

Preparation
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat or prepare a sandwich toaster.
- Spread an even layer of peanut butter on two slices of bread. Spread jam on the remaining two slices.
- Assemble the sandwiches: peanut-butter slice facing in, jam slice facing in, so that the filling is in the middle.
- Spread a thin layer of butter on the outer sides of the sandwiches (the sides that will touch the pan).
- Place the sandwiches on the hot pan and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, pressing gently with a spatula, until the bread is golden and crispy and the center is clearly warm.
- Remove from the pan, wait a minute because the filling will be very hot, then cut the sandwiches diagonally and serve.
Storage

Freezing:
No
Najlepiej zjeść od razu po przygotowaniu. Jeśli zostanie, owiń kanapkę w folię i przechowuj w lodówce do następnego dnia, potem podgrzej krótko na suchej patelni, żeby chleb znów był chrupiący.
