American-Style Breakfast Wrap with Scrambled Eggs and Turkey Recipe
A breakfast wrap is the American answer to “I’ll grab something on the go.” Scrambled eggs, turkey cold cuts, cheese, and vegetables are wrapped in a tortilla so you can eat it one-handed in the car or at your desk. The flavors are like a classic skillet breakfast, just rolled up in a flatbread instead of lying on a plate.

Ingredients
- wheat tortilla large, about 25 cm in diameter - 2 pieces
- egg - 3 pieces
- milk - 2 tablespoons
- turkey ham or another lean poultry cold cut - 4 slices
- yellow cheese e.g. cheddar or gouda - 2 slices
- red bell pepper cut into thin strips - 0.5 pieces
- chives chopped - 2 tablespoons
- butter for frying the scrambled eggs - 10 g
- salt or to taste - 0.25 teaspoons
- ground black pepper - 0.13 teaspoons
- ketchup or mild tomato sauce optional, for spreading on the tortillas - 2 tablespoons
Main Ingredient:
eggs
Preparation
- Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the milk, salt, and pepper. Beat with a fork or whisk until the mixture is uniform.
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently every few seconds, until the eggs are set but still slightly moist and soft. Remove from the heat, add the chives, and stir.
- Slice the pepper into thin strips; leave the turkey ham in slices or cut into smaller pieces if you prefer.
- Briefly warm the tortillas in a dry pan for 10–15 seconds on each side until they become more pliable.
- Spread each tortilla thinly with ketchup or tomato sauce (if using). Place a slice of cheese in the center, then half of the scrambled eggs, turkey ham, and pepper strips.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla toward the center, then roll up tightly from the bottom to the top to form a wrap.
- If you like, warm the finished wraps again in a dry pan for 1–2 minutes on each side, pressing gently, until the cheese inside melts and the tortilla is lightly browned.
